腹立つこと

って、別に誰かに腹が立っているわけじゃないから、ご心配なく。

昨日ＡＢＣっていうこっちのＮＨＫみたいなチャンネルでアメリカの経済学者がインタビューされてて、ちょっと、というか、かなり腹が立つことを言ってた。
インタビューの内容はPoverty（貧困問題）とFood Security（食料問題？）についてだった。
私は途中からこのインタビューを見始めたから、この経済学者がどんな人でどんな視点から物を言ってるか知らないけど、彼曰く
「貧困な国、例えばアフリカなどは資源があるし、彼らはそれをマネージする力を持ってるから、大丈夫である。」
みたいなことを言ってました。
ポジティブだし、聞いてる人がポジティブな考え方になる言い方だけど、
The flip side of this is...
"They can do their own things, we don't have to help them at all, especially financially, do we really need to give money to them?"
I took his comment like that above. Ok, yes it is ture that they have power to manage themselves. They have more knowledge about their own lands. But it doesn't mean we should just leave the situation like this. According to the statistic, the rate of obesity in Australia, America, and other developed countries are INCRASEING and people with malnutrition is INCREASING too. Isn't this ironic? I hear people saying "yes we are experiencing food scarcity...blah blah blah" but look at all those obesity rate in this world.

Do we, developed countries, really know where the foods come from? Those agricultural products in Africa go to Europe or USA (mostly Europe). Those agricultural products in South East Asia come to Japan. Do we really think about that when we buy products at a supermarket? Doesn't it seem like developing countires are only serving developed countires, making their lives worse for developed countries???
先進国がなんとかしなくちゃいけないんじゃないかな？
先進国の人たちが気がつかなきゃいけない問題なんじゃないかな？
彼らが苦しんでいるのは先進国のせいなんだよ。

ＵＮもＵＮで助けにならないし・・・。１９８７年にBrundtland commissionという会議が開かれ、そこでSustainabilityという言葉に注目がおかれた。でも、このsustainabilityっていう言葉、あやしい。
ＵＮのホームページ行けばSustainabilityという意味も載ってるんだけど、経済の成長を促してます。ゼロ経済成長のコンセプトをまったく無視。なんだそれ。貧困も増えてる。どうなの？

もう、いろんなことが腹立たしい。
「唯一の助けＵＮ」とか思っていた私がおばかでした。もちろんすばらしいこともたくさんしてるし、第２次世界大戦後の植民地解放なんて、ＵＮのアクションなしではここまで解放にならなかったでしょう。
でもね、やっぱり貧困問題に対してはいまいちだと思うんだ。
